Zoolander 2 is an American feature film of the comedy genre. It is the first sequel to the 2001 sleeper hit Zoolander. The movie was directed and co-written by Ben Stiller, who also plays the titular protagonist of the movie, Derek Zoolander. The script was co-written by Justin Theroux, Nicholas Stoller and John Hamburg. It was produced by Red Hour Films and Scott Rudin Productions and released theatrically in the United States on February 12th, 2016. In addition to Ben Stiller, the film also stars Owen Wilson as Hansel, Will Ferrell as the evil Mugatu, Kristen Wiig as Alexanya Atoz, and Penélope Cruz as Melanie Valentina.
