Virginia Alves is a fictional nurse as well as a murder victim featured in the Halloween film series. Played by actress Gloria Gifford, she appeared in the 1981 film Halloween II.
Biography[]
Virginia Alves was the head nurse at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. She administered care to patient Laurie Strode after she had been admitted following injuries sustained by her psychotic brother Michael Myers. Myers sneaked into the hospital, killing several staff members, including Mrs. Alves, in an effort to get to his sister. He strapped Alves down to a table and ran and exsanguinated her with an I.V. drip. Her body was discovered by an EMT named Jimmy.
