Biography[]
Ted Hendley lived in San Francisco, California with his wife Katherine. Like many in the city, Tom was subverted and replaced by an alien spore commonly referred to as a "pod person". Katherine immediately recognized that something was wrong with her husband and addressed her concerns to celebrity psychiatrist and self-help guru David Kibner. Kibner attempted to allay her suspicions, but this was a self-serving act as he was also a pod person.
Hendley attended Kibner, as well as a man named Geoffrey Howell in helping to ferret out other humans He was likely instrumental in assimilating his wife into the fold as well. Ted accompanied David and Geoffrey and captured a man named Jack Bellicec, forcing him to undergo the assimilation. Collectively, they went to the offices of the San Francisco Health Department whereupon they captured a man named Matthew Bennell and his colleague Elizabeth Driscoll.
