Super 8 is an American feature film of the science fiction genre. It was written and directed by J.J. Abrams and filmed at Abrams' studio, Bad Robot Productions. It was produced by Paramount Pictures and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment and released theatrically in the United States on June 10th, 2011. The film centers around a group of adolescent boys who fancy themselves amateur filmmakers, seeking to put together the next great horror film. And then they meet an alien. Guaranteed that these kids are going to be late for dinner.
