Stabbing is the act of stabbing someone with some type of bladed instrument. This is most effectively done with a knife or a sword. Stab wounds range in severity from superficial to fatal.

In film[]

  • Annabelle: Amanda Higgins and cultist boyfriend stab her adoptive parents to death (off-screen). Cultist boyfriend stabs Mia in side.
  • Annabelle: Creation: Annabelle Higgins and boyfriend stab her parents to death. Scene occurs partially off-camera, but is shown in greater detail in Annabelle.
  • Deathstalker: The Princess Codille is stabbed to death by an assassin.
  • Deliverance: Lewis has a mishap with his recurve bow and accidentally stabs himself in the leg.
  • Freddy vs. Jason: Numerous stabbings took place in this film executed by both Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. Jason stabbed Trey Cooper in the back multiple times with a machete. He double-impaled Frisell and Gibb Smith with a broken length of pipe. He stabbed a fleeing Shack through the back with a flaming machete. Freddy Krueger stabbed Mrs. Campbell to death in a dream sequence. Freddy stabbed Jason Voorhees numerous times with his claws during two separate confrontations. He also stabbed Jason with his own machete. Jason returned the favor by cutting off Freddy's claw arm then later stabbing him in the back with it.
  • Friday the 13th Part 2: Jason Voorhees stabs camp counselor Vickie in the abdomen with a butcher knife. It is later revealed that Ginny Field, who survived his attack, suffered multiple stab wounds as well.
  • Halloween II (2009): Michael Myers pulled Jazlean Benny out of a pickup truck and stabbed her multiple times across the chest and abdomen until she was dead.
  • Nightmare on Elm Street, A (2010): The dream demon Freddy Krueger murdered several people in this film by stabbing him with his claws. He stabbed Jesse Braun in the stomach and allowed him to suffer for several minutes before killing him off. He stabbed Gwen Holbrook through the back of the head, piercing her eyes and face.
