Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is an American feature film of the crime noir subgenre of action. It was directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller with a screenplay written by Miller based on his comic book works. It was produced by Miramax Films & the Weinstein Company, as well as Dimension Films. The movie is a sequel to the 2005 film Sin City. It premiered in Los Angeles, California on August 19th, 2014. It opened to nationwide release in the United States on August 22nd.
