Severed limb refers to any part of the body that has been forcibly removed either through surgical procedure, animal attack or an act of violence.

- Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones: Obi-Wan Kenobi cuts off Zam Wessel's arm with a lightsaber in the Outlander Club on Coruscant. Later, Count Dooku cuts off Anakin Skywalker's arm with a saber during their dual on Geonosis.
- Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith: Anakin Skywalker cuts off Count Dooku's hands and then his head during the rescue of Chancellor Palpatine on the Malevolence. Later, Obi-Wan Kenobi cuts off Darth Vader's remaining hand as well as both legs.
