It was produced by Columbia Pictures and Fangoria Films and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6th, 1991.
The Royal Windsor Lodge was an eating and drinking establishment located in the town of Allburg. In August of 1991, the Royal Windsor Lodge became the staging ground for a massive attack perpetuated by vampires against the local residents. The vampire master Vlado Czakyr used his familiars to lure citizens to the Royal Windsor Lodge where they would attack them, drinking their blood, and turning them into vampires.

Just another fun-filled round of Bingo at the Royal Windsor Lodge, right?
In the span of only a few hours, nearly the entire town of Allburg had been turned into vampires. The vampires captured Lucy Barrett as well as her new inappropriately aged friend Matt Gardner and brought them to the lodge. Lucy was a virgin, and as such, her blood was highly coveted by the vampire master and considered highly intoxicating. One of Czakyr's human familiars - a child named Billy told Lucy and Matt how his master was in effect "saving" this town from the perceived curse of living. Another human who had been captured and brought to the lodge was Officer Gates, who struggled against her vampire captors, calling them a bunch of little perverts. She fought back, breaking a beer bottle and using the broken shards as a stabbing weapon. She did fairly well for herself at first, but she could not stop being overwhelmed by the vampire horde and had her throat slit Czakyr himself. In the ensuing chaos, Matt managed to use his cross medallion to keep the others at bay and escaped with Lucy.
