Ronin is an American feature film of the action genre. It was directed by John Frankenheimer and written by J.D. Zeik and David Mamet (writing as Richard Weisz), based on a story treatment by Zeik. It was produced by FGM Entertainment and presented by United Artists and released theatrically on September 25th, 1998. The movie stars Robert De Niro as Sam, Jean Reno as Vincent, Natascha McElhone as Deirdre, Stellan SkarsgÄrd as Gregor, Sean Bean as Spence, Skipp Sudduth as Larry and Michael Lonsdale as Jean-Pierre.
