Rittenhouse Manor is a fictional residence and the main setting of the 1930 Marx Brothers comedy film Animal Crackers, which is based on the musical play of the same name.

The Rittenhouse estate was the mansion residence of wealthy socialite Mrs. Rittenhouse and her daughter, Arabella located in Long Island. In 1930, Mrs. Rittenhouse hosted an event showcasing a painting called "After the Hunt" by Beauregard. Another highlight of Mrs. Rittenhouse's gala event was the return of famed explorer Captain Geoffrey T. Spaulding, who had only recently completed an expedition in Africa. As various guests attended the function, the house became the scene of intense chaos after someone had stolen the painting, which was valued at $100,000. Two of the guests, Signor Emanuel Ravelli and The Professor captured the culprit, who turned out to be the art patron and collector Roscoe W. Chandler.
