Ringu 0 is a Japanese feature film of the horror genre with an emphasis on ghost fiction. It is a prequel film to the Ringu film series, and takes place prior to the events of the first Ringu. The movie was directed by Norio Tsuruta with a screenplay written by Hiroshi Takahashi based on concepts originally developed by author Kôji Suzuki.
