The Parasite Doctor Suzune: Evolution is a Japanese feature film of the science fiction and action genres. It is based on the Manga Kisei jûi · Suzune by Haruki. It was directed by Ryû Kaneda with a screenplay written by Yoshinobu Fujioka and Yûji Kobayashi. It was produced by Showgate and the Office Hara Co. and distributed through the Toei Video Company. The movie was released direct-to-video in Japan on December 3rd, 2011. The film stars Rei Yoshii in the titular role of Doctor Suzune Arizono - a veterinarian who is pressed into action to destroy parasitic creatures that infect humans, increasing their physical prowess and sexual appetites.
