Owls are a type of bird. They are distinguished from other birds by their big, round heads, gigantic eyes and that crazy-ass ability to spin their head around 360 degrees like Linda Blair from The Exorcist. Owls are known for making a "Hoo Hoo" sound. They are not particularly social creatures, but some lonely chicks are known to dress up an owl with a cape and boots and dance with it as if it were a living human being. Such was the case in the 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty when Princess Aurora did exactly that, fantasizing about how "one day her prince would come". Pathetic.
