Office Space is an American feature film of the comedy genre. It was written and directed by Mike Judge and produced by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation. It was released theatrically in the United States on February 19th, 1999. The movie stars Ron Livingston as dissatisfied office worker Peter Gibbons, whose lack of motivation and unwillingness to commit himself to his work prompts him to engage in a new business venture - the legality of which is... well... it's illegal. Assisting Peter in this endeavor is fellow office workers Michael Bolton, played by David Herman, and Samir Nagheenanajar, played by Ajay Naidu. Actress Jennifer Aniston plays Peter's love interest, Joanna with Stephen Root as a squirrely disgruntled employee named Milton Waddams. The main antagonist of the film is Peter's boss, Bill Lumbergh, played by Gary Cole. Other actors of note in the movie include John C. McGinley, Diedrich Bader, Richard Riehle and Orlando Jones.
