New Mexico is a state located in the southwestern region of the continental United States. It is bordered by the state of Texas to the southeast, the country of Mexico to the south and Arizona to the west. To the north, it is bordered by Colorado. The state capital is Santa Fe. Other major cities include White Sands, Albuquerque and Roswell, which is famous for the alleged UFO crash sighting of 1947 and potential military cover-up.
