Overview[]
Mrs. Whitehead was a neighbor and guest of Mrs. Rittenhouse who attended a gala social event at Rittenhouse Manor in 1930. She was friends with an art student named Grace Carpenter, both of whom were insanely jealous of Mrs. Rittenhouse because of her social prominence. Mrs. Whitehead and Grace conspired to embarrass Mrs. Rittenhouse when Grace came up with a plot to steal a painting that she had on display with the intent of replacing it with a phony piece she had done herself a year earlier.
