The Morgan Horse Ranch was located on Moesko Island off the coast of Washington. It was the residence of the Morgan family, which included horse trainer Richard Morgan, his horse breeder wife, Anna Morgan, and their adopted daughter, Samara.
When their daughter Samara became jealous of the affection shown towards the horses, instead of to her, she used her psychokinetic powers to drive the horses insane, driving them to suicide. Yes, you read that correctly. Suicidal horses.
