Modesty Blaise is a British feature film of the spy thriller subgenre of action. It was directed by Joseph Losey with a screenplay written by Evan Jones based on a story concept by Peter O'Donnell. It was produced by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and premiered in London, England on May 5th, 1966. It was released in the United States in Chicago, Illinois on July 1st, 1966. The movie stars Monica Vitti in the lead role of Modesty Blaise, with Terence Stamp as Modesty's confidant, Willie Garvin.
