History[]

Mill Creek was the name of a riverbed as well as the surrounding environs located in Warren County, Illinois. It was located only a short distance from the Ridgemont Federal Sanitarium. In 1988, Ambulance 534 was driving away from Ridgemont en route to Smith's Grove Sanitarium. Aside from the driver, the only other occupants of the ambulance were two attendants named J. Black and L. Evans as well as comatose burn victim and serial killer Michael Myers. As the two attendees talked, one of them mentioned Michael's young niece, Jamie Lloyd - a relative that he had no previous knowledge of. Fueled by a desire to track her down, Michael awakened from his state and attacked the attendants. He was particularly brutal to J. Black, slamming his head multiple times against the interior panel of the vehicle and pushing his thumb into his forehead. The ambulance overturned at Mill Creek.

State police arrived on the scene after the incident took place and contacted Doctor E.W. Hoffman at Ridgemont. Hoffman came out to the sight with Doctor Sam Loomis to inspect the carnage. They found the ambulance overturned in the creek and all of the bodies were burned beyond recognition. They could not discern the identities of the occupants or even how many there were. It is unclear if L. Evans and the driver died in the crash or if Myers had killed them before the vehicle went off the road. Loomis was convinced that Myers was not one of the burn victims inside the ambulance.
