Biography[]

Lorenzo was your typical macho a-hole. He worked as an orderly at the Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital near Springwood, Ohio in the late 1980s. Lorenzo had little regard for being a caregiver and only took notice of a patient if there was something about them that caught his eye. He particularly enjoyed flirting with one of the more attractive floor nurses, Marcie.

When Kristen Parker was admitted to the hospital after a suicide attempt, the staff attempted to sedate her. Kristen freaked out and began striking at the staff members. Lorenzo and Chief orderly Max were called down to the examination room to calm her down.

A short time later, Lorenzo approached a young mental patient named Taryn White. Aware of her history with substance abuse, Lorenzo tried to ply her into joining him in the dispensary for some fun. Taryn denied having any involvement with drugs until Lorenzo pointed out the track marks on her arms. She pulled away, claiming that those were "ancient history". When Lorenzo continued to harass her, Taryn threatened to go to Max if he didn't leave her alone. Taryn never got the chance to carry out her threat however, as she was murdered by psychotic dream phantom Freddy Krueger shortly thereafter. [1]

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Character archetype: Macho jerk.
  • Final fate: Survivor. Lorenzo never had any interaction with Freddy Krueger and was unaware of his existence and/or his presence at the hospital.
  • Playing the role of Lorenzo is actor Clayton Landey's third film role and his first role in the horror genre.
  • Clayton Landey also played a character named Robert Palmer in the "Funhouse" episode of the horror anthology series Freddy's Nightmares. Although two episodes of the TV show tied into the movie continuity, the series was otherwise chronicling individual tales that were not otherwise related to the movies.
