The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane is a Canadian and French co-produced feature film of the psychological thriller genre. It was directed by Nicholas Gessner with a screenplay written by Laird Koenig based on the novel of the same name by Laird Koenig. It was produced by Zev Braun Productions and distributed theatrically in the United States through American International Pictures. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, 1976. The film stars Jodie Foster as 13-year-old Rynn Jacobs with Martin Sheen as Frank Hallet.
