Kevin Ulrich is a veteran money manager and financial service provider with over 25 years of experience. In 2003, he co-founded Anchorage Capital Group in New York; he currently serves as the CEO and Senior Portfolio Manager of the firm. As an manager and administrator at Anchorage, Ulrich is involved in the firm’s day-to-day as well as the larger
policy making decisions. Ulrich’s expertise and skill are evident in everything from managing portfolios to navigating risk; from distributing assets to determining investment strategies. It is Ulrich’s capable leadership and knowledge which have brought Anchorage to the forefront of the industry. The firm is a known and prominent alternative credit and distressed management provider with international offices and a network of superior professionals. Prior to co-founding Anchorage, Ulrich held a variety of roles at Goldman Sachs, including Managing Director, Head of Distressed Bank Loans, and Global Head of Bank Loan Trading. Since 2010, Ulrich has been the director of MGM where he is also Chairman of the Board. Ulrich has a BA from University of Western Ontario. He earned a Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from Harvard Law School.
