Jonah Hex is an American feature film of the action and western genres. It was directed by Jimmy Hayward with a screenplay written by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor based on a story treatment by Neveldine, Taylor, and William Farmer. It was produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. in association with Legendary Entertainment. It premiered in Hollywood, California on June 17th, 2010, but had its nationwide release on June 18th. The film stars Josh Brolin as scarred bounty hunter Jonah Hex with Megan Fox as the female lead, Lilah, as well as John Malkovich as the main villain, Quentin Turnbull, and Michael Fassbender as Burke.
