Brief Summary[]
It is about Katniss Everdeen who replaced her sister as the "gladiator" for her district. She trains and fights others in a deadly "game" which has been repeated for over 70 years. Eventually her will to rebel surfaced in her actions, including the way she violated the rule "only one survivor".
