Biography[]

Hela was a member of the Asgardian race and was the goddess of death and the underworld. She was the firstborn child of All-Father Odin Borson, and the sister of Thor Odinson. During the ancient wars, Hela served as Odin's executioner and wielded an enchanted hammer. She was ultimately banished to the underworld, but surfaced centuries later in a bid to conquer all of Asgard. She slaughtered the Warriors Three, and took Skurge as her personal executioner. She destroyed Thor's enchanted hammer, Mjolnir, and paved the way for the rise of the demonic Surtur, who was fated to destroy the Nine Realms of Asgard in an event known as Ragnarok. Hela was killed during Ragnarok.
