Rain Ocampo from Resident Evil.
Gunshot victims are people or animals who are shot by a firearm. In most cases, such injuries prove to be fatal, but with proper treatment, it is not uncommon for those who suffer such a wound to make a full recovery. Head shots are almost universally fatal unless of course you happen to be one of those lucky bastards where the bullet circumnavigates the skull. Antagonists in horror films seldom use firearms, preferring either sharpened blades, power tools or their own supernatural abilities. Firearms are an effective way of dealing with some supernatural creatures such as werewolves and zombies. For werewolves, a gunshot is only effective if the round is made of silver. For zombies, only precise headshots seem to do the trick. A large calibre round is preferred to insure complete destruction of the head or else you risk the slimy cadaver coming back after you with a vengeance.
