Guam is a territory out in the Pacific Ocean somewhere. Its native inhabitants are not called Guamians or Guamos as one might think, but rather, they are called Chamorros. You also have some Filipinos that live on the island as well. During World War II, Guam was occupied by the Japanese. Guam became an unincorporated territory of the United States in 1950.

Duke Mitchell and Sammy Petrillo were entertainers who had scheduled a performance for troops stationed in Guam. They got sidetracked from their destination however and ended up on a South Pacific island called Kola Kola, which was presumably very near Guam.

Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon[]

Sisters Jane and Christy Goody traveled to Guam on vacation. Along their travels they acquired a priceless jade dragon statue which was the property of the Yakuza. As the Yakuza was hot to get the item back, the sisters were forced to rely on the aid of a sports photographer named Max Havoc, who was also a former kickboxer.

No Man Is an Island[]

The 1962 film No Man Is an Island chronicled the wartime career of George Ray Tweed, who was a radioman for the United States Navy stationed in Guam during World War II. Tweed served during the Battle of Guam, which too place on December 8th, 1941.
