Biography[]
The Gourmet yuppette, whose actual name is unknown operated out of Dallas, Texas in the mid 1980s. She was the host of the Texas/Oklahoma Chili Cook-off competition and was very excited to announce the Grand Champion of the 1986 competition, Drayton Sawyer. When Drayton came up to accept his trophy, the yuppette gave him a big hug and even announced that she thought he was kind of cute.
While Drayton waxed on about having an eye for prime meat, the host sampled a spoonful of his chili. She spit out an indigestible piece, and Drayton said that it must be one of those hard-shell peppercorns. In all likelihood, given his family's practices, there was a better than average chance that the peppercorn was actually a human tooth.
