Frozen is that movie that every little girl across the world went completely bananas over. They bought all of the toys, they dressed up in all of the attire, they sang all of the songs. It could be said that these kids simply could not (dare I say it), "let it go". Ha! Song is in your head now, isn't it? Frozen is a computer animated family fantasy film brought to you by the good folks over at Walt Disney Productions. This one comes in at number 53 in Disney's Animated Features library, and is the eleventh film to use computer generated imaging techniques. The movie was directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and written by Lee with story development by Buck, Lee and Shane Morris. It is based on the short story "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen. The movie stars Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel as the female leads, Anna and Elsa - two sisters from a frigid European country who become estranged after Elsa develops the mutant ability to generate snow and ice. The film also features the voice talents of Jonathan Groff as the heroic male lead, Kristoff, Josh Gad as a mentally stilted magical snowman named Olaf, Santino Fontana as Hans, and Alan Tudyk as the Duke. The film premiered theatrically in the United States on November 27th, 2013.
