Frankenstein 90 is a French comedy film with elements of horror and science fiction. It was written, directed and produced by Alain Jessua and co-written by Paul Gégauff. It is a spoof of Mary Shelley's seminal 1818 horror novel, Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus, and was produced by Jessua's production company A.J. Films. It was first released in France on August 14th, 1984. The movie stars Jean Rochefort as Doctor Victor Frankenstein, Eddy Mitchell as "Frank" and Fiona Gélin as Elizabeth.
