Fly Me to the Moon is an American feature film of the dramedy and romantic comedy genres. It was directed by Greg Berlanti with a screenplay written by Rose Gilroy based on a story treatment by Bill Kirstein and Keenan Flynn. It was produced by Berlanti Productions, Apple Studios and These Pictures. It was released theatrically in the United States through Columbia Pictures on July 12th, 2024. In the late 1960s, during the height of the Space Race, the White House puts pressure on NASA launch director Cole Davis to get a rocket to Earth's moon. The film stars Scarlett Johansson as Kelly Jones with Channing Tatum as Cole Davis. Fearing disaster, marketing maven Kelly Jones is brought in to stage a fake moon landing as a back-up plan.
