Biography[]

Officer Dorf was a police motorcycle cop serving the Crystal Lake area during the 1970s. In the summer of 1979 he received a call concerning the local town crazy, a man named Ralph, who had been reported trespassing on the grounds of Camp Crystal Lake. Dorf knew that Steve Christy had been trying to re-open the camp and he rode out there to make sure that nothing was wrong. When he arrived, he met several of Christy's new camp counselors including Jack Marand, Marcie Cunningham, Ned Rubinstein, Alice Hardy and two others named Brenda and Bill. He found the kids acting aloof and irresponsible and took an instant disliking to them, particularly Ned, who had been clowning around by dressing up like a Native American and making "whooping" calls. He suspected that the kids were all on drugs and even questioned Jack Marand's sobriety. "Colombian Gold, man", as he put it. He warned them about Crazy Ralph, telling them that every time Ralph has too much to drink he "gets his calling" and Dorf gets to spend the day in court while Ralph spends a week in jail. While brow-beating the counselors, Dorf received a call from the police chief. Unwilling to keep the chief waiting, he gunned his cycle, turned around and left.

Dorf later accompanied Sergeant Tierney to Camp Crystal Lake the next morning following a murder spree wrought by the vengeful Pamela Voorhees. They fished Alice Hardy, the only survivor of Pamela's wrath, out of Crystal Lake and brought her to a hospital. [1]
