Notes[]
Fun Facts[]
- Famed comic creators Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway wrote the original story for the film, but weren't pleased with the screenplay written by Stanley Mann, and so they used their story for a graphic novel published by Marvel Comics.
- Three of the cast members share a birthday, though they were born in different years. The cast members are Pat Roach, Grace Jones and Andre the Giant.
- Initially there was to be a sequel called Conan the Conqueror, but the film was cancelled as Arnold Schwarzenegger was doing Predator at the time. The script was thus used for Kull the Conquerer. Another sequel is planned, however, it will be ignoring the events of Conan the Destroyer.
- This was the first film for Olivia d'Abo, and she was only 14 at the time. While on set, Wilt Chamberlain had told Olivia that if anyone gave her problems, "Wilt will take care of it". Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger had taught Olivia how to defend herself, which might have caused problems as she was scared of Pat Roach.
- Wilt Chamberlain and Grace Jones did most of their own stunts.
