Bruce Campbell

Bruce Lorne Campbell is an American film and television actor. He was born in Birmingham, Michigan on June 22nd, 1958. Bruce got his start in film in 1977 with a bit role playing a police officer on a bicycle in It's Murder!, which was written and directed by his friend Sam Raimi. This is not the only time that Bruce would work with Raimi, nor is it the only time that he would play a policeman. 1981 became the year that Bruce made cult classic history with his portrayal of brash blowhard Ash Williams in Raimi's supernatural horror film The Evil Dead. Campbell would reprise the role of Ash for the film's 1987 sequel, Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn, as well as 1992's Army of Darkness. In 1988, Campbell did another horror feature, Maniac Cop, in which he played the main character, Jack Forrest. He reprised the role of Forrest for the 1990 sequel, Maniac Cop 2. Bruce's other film credits include Alien Apocalypse, Serving Sara, McHale's Navy, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, My Name Is Bruce, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
