- The Batman '66 version of Bruce Wayne was created by William Dozier, Robert Butler and Lorenzo Semple, Jr., and was used in the 1966 Batman TV series and movie tie-in. He was portrayed by the actor Adam West.
- The Burtonverse version was created by the director Tim Burton and the writers Sam Hamm and Warren Skaaren and was portrayed by Michael Keaton, with Charles Roskilly playing a young Bruce Wayne. Val Kilmer and George Clooney also played the character in Batman Forever and Batman & Robin respectively.
- The Nolanverse version was created by writer/director Christopher Nolan and the writer David S. Goyer. He was played by the actor Christian Bale, with Gus Lewis as the younger Bruce Wayne.
- The DC Extended Universe version of Bruce Wayne was created by the director Zack Snyder and the writers Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer, and was portrayed by Ben Affleck, with a younger version played by Brandon Spink.
