Blades of Glory is an American feature film of the sports comedy genre. It was directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck with a script written by Jeff Cox, Craig Cox, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky based on a story treatment by Craig & Jeff Cox, and Busy Philipps. The film was produced by DreamWorks SKG and released theatrically in the United States on March 30th, 2007. The movie stars Will Ferrell and Jon Heder in the roles of Olympic figure skating partners Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy. Co-starring in the movie is Will Arnett as Stranz Van Waldenberg, Amy Poehler as Fairchild Van Waldenberg, Jenna Fischer as Katie Van Waldenberg, William Fichtner as Darren MacElroy, and Craig T. Nelson as Coach.
