Benton is a city in Arkansas and the county seat of Saline County. It is located twenty-four miles south of Little Rock on Interstate 30. The 1996 film Sling Blade was filmed primarily in Benton, and may even take place there. Notable landmarks from the film include the Arkansas Health Center, C.W.
