- The Taiwanese version of the film lasts 86 minutes, rather than 76 minutes.
- There is a scene which suggests that Batman and Batgirl have sex upon a roof top, something which was not included in the original graphic novel which the film is based on. This upset many fans of the graphic novel.
- Tara Strong, who voiced Batgirl, found the film complicated as every other time she voiced the character, the character was depicted as younger and not as dark of a character.
- Taglines for the film include "Smile" and "The madness begins".
