April Fool's Day is an American feature film of the slasher genre with a twist of dark comedy thrown in for good measure. It was directed by Fred Walton with a screenplay written by Danilo Bach. It was produced by Hometown Films & YCTM and presented by Paramount Pictures. The movie was released theatrically in the United States on March 28th, 1986.

- This movie was shot entirely in British Columbia, Canada. It was filmed in two different locations on Victoria Island. Scenes at the main set, the St. John estate were filmed at the Dunmora estate on 8100 McPhail Road.
