Animal Crackers is an American feature film of the comedy genre, starring the Marx Brothers. The film was directed by Victor Heerman with a script written by Morrie Ryskind. It is based on the musical play of the same name by Ryskind, George S. Kaufman, Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby.
Plot[]
Noted safari hunter Captain Geoffrey T. Spaulding, having only recently returned from Africa, attends a high society function at the estate of Mrs. Rittenhouse. Through the course of events, a valuable painting is stolen. Hilarity ensues.
