The Abominable Snowman is a British horror film produced by Hammer Film Productions. Released in the UK on August 26th, 1957, it was directed by Val Guest based on a television serial called The Creature written by Nigel Kneale. The film revolves around an English botanist named Doctor John Rollason (played by Peter Cushing) who leads an expedition to the Himalayan mountains on a search for the legendary creature known as the Abominable Snowman.
